Half sleeve sweatbands that go from mid forearm to mid bicep that all the players are wearing on one arm? I've noticed some of them have pads over the elbow. Back in the day we were proud to leave at least the top three layers of skin on the court and more floor burns means you played harder.
All these players that are wearing t-shirts under their jerseys? I just don't get it. When you get all sweaty doesn't the shirt cling to you and then restrict your movement? Not to mention it makes you look like that dork that wore a t-shirt with his shorts at the swimming pool when we were little. Just saying
Coke Zero commercial that talks about enhancing the NCAA experience that features UNC in their commercials? Don't they like pay people to do research? And don't these people know that UNC didn't make the dance? I could totally do that job.

When I was in high school (way, way back in the day) shirts were not allowed under uniforms. I blame Patrick Ewing for this change. He was the first. Sweatbands were for dorks. Everyone had to wear the same shoes. Life was simple then.
I am not a fan of the new, If you like this, you will like this. I find it distracting. Just saying.
Thanks for the feedback Page Turner, however, I was referring to the new segment "What's with the..." you know if I start using it regularly like "What I learned today..."
I do like What's with the..... Also like What I learned today..... Really like that you have been blogging more lately. I have an addiction to reading blogs. Mrs. has been a huge let down lately. By the way, in a meeting at work the other day, her is the conversation. Did you read Tru Stories today, I say yes, she is my daughter. Person says did you read Munchkin, she cracks me up. I say, you know you don't really know these people. I say, I barely knows these people. She says, it feels like I do. Now you have a Corporate following. I hope that does not go to your head. Like a good neighbor, your stalkers are out there enjoying your blogs.
The shooting sleeve is for keeping your muscles and joints warm for better circulation on injured areas. It can also help keep your elbow straight. It also covers up obscene tattoos so they won't get shown on TV. Only European players can make it in the NBA without tattoos obviously.
The t-shirts mostly aren't t-shirts anymore. It's Under Armor. Again with the compression for muscles and whatnot. Also the fibers its made from lifts the sweat away from your body to keep you cool, unlike a regular cotton t-shirt which absorbs the sweat and makes it heavy, sticky, and uncomfortable.
I am a Pespi drinker.
It makes me feel so good that I have a corporate following. I'll tell you though, it does make me feel a little pressured to be funny or at least increase the amount of stupid things I do on a daily basis so I can blog about them. With that said I'll try to make you proud!!!
General - I don't mind the under armor undershirts and I get the concept, but there are some that still wear a regular t-shirt and it drives me nuts.
