Unwise Words

The best thing to say to the person about to you (by choice) an injection is probably not "hey, what's the hold up?" Oh I'm sorry Sir, did you not see the six other people who walked in right before you did? Do you not hear that obnoxious dinging of the drive thru bell? Can you not see that I'm on the phone? My apologies, I will drop everything I'm doing, including the other (much nicer) people that are ahead of you to feed that ego of yours that thinks you are the only person in the world. Now where did I put that depo needle?

I am never rude at my pharmacy. Not that it matters. It is not a free country. I do not get to chose my pharmacy, my insurance plan does.
I do not understand people that freak out while standing in line. I expect that I am always in the slowest line in the world. If it moves quickly, I am happily surprised.

I wish you could come to my pharmacy. Our usual wait time is around 5 minutes to wait for a prescription, seconds if it's a refill that's already done. This was one of those weird things where since it was all flu shots and I was the only immunizer there, it took a little longer. I assure you that longer wait only happens once in a great while when I'm there. Don't get me started on your insurance company choosing your pharmacy for you!

At Wal-mart I ALWAYS choose the check-out line with:

A.) The Slow Cashier.

B.) The 'not so bright' cashier.

OR

C.) The cashier whom wants to be my new bestie and comment on each and every one of my purchases, with a quip about her grand-child uses these same blah blah...etc.

And even though I am not a very friendly person and I try very hard to ignore... I still never snap. I respect anyone in service.

Unless they are a terrible/rude waitress. Then I'm not so pleasant.

I totally get that same girl at checkout in Walmart....I like to talk to them though.....it makes the half hour check out time go faster

Flag Girl - You made me laugh out loud.
One of my all time favorite jokes I heard once on Bob & Tom:

Do you know why McDonald's workers are so slow?
They are rethinking every mistake in their life that put them in their career at McDonalds.
That jokes reminds me to be kind to service workers.
