As I was trying to explain on Saturday at the Bride's luncheon (not a shower), I have been very busy trying to find my niche at my "new" job. For those of you that don't know the back story to that, I have actually worked with this company on and off for seven years, but I'm making that awkward transition from technician to pharmacist. Which is further complicated by the fact that it is taking forever to get licensed. I just found out on Thursday that I take boards July 8 and 9. A large panic attack ensued shortly after. They were having no work excuses for lack of posting. I'm also working on planning the world's greatest bachelorette party and have a five mile race coming up soon. I'm feeling better about the party as I booked the last part of it yesterday. The race, however, I'm not feeling at ease about. It took me until Saturday to figure out that my plan of walking (so I don't have to train) with Tru Stories may not be such a good idea. See, she is a foot taller than I and I will probably have to keep up at least a jog to not get left behind. In all truthfulness I'm hoping someone will feel bad for me and just come pick me up. I mean, is this thing even for charity? Can I wear spandex?
Reason #481 I haven't posted in three weeks: The longer it has been since I've posted, the more pressure I feel to be funny. As Flag Girl realized the other night, I feel a lot of pressure to be funny on here because I don't have any cute kids to fall back on. Plus, as it turns out, having a full-time job really leaves a lot less time for ridiculous crap to happen to me.
So the moral of the story? I apologize for the small sabbatical, but the Mrs., Tru Stores, Doc, Flag Girl, and Page Turner all promised not to make any comments about my lack of posting or other things of that nature on this post. I will try and do better. Plus I have another airport story. Because I can't fly like a normal person.

Real jobs are just not fun!! They can suck the fun out of you!! By the way enjoyed stopping by and sharing grapes with you at the after party for the luncheon (not a shower).
I'm glad you're back. I missed you.
Sunshine on yet another crappy morning! I love seeing a new post on Munchkin!
I'm sure The Party will be awesome, we are going.
Walking the 5Mile will just make you hotter at The Party.
And one day your job worries will be distant while you are rolling in your Fat Bank.
Sorry I am one foot taller. I can't help that I am better. Just genetics.
Heart You!
Also, I confess...it is easy to fall back on pics of your kids, when they are super cute and you have an awesome camera.
The Party is making me anxious! I'm getting nervous....
The Party is going to be the greatest event of the summer. I predict it may even rival the wedding. I just know it's going to be THAT GOOD. Also, Tru Stories, I may ask that you leave that awesome camera of yours at home. Something tells me it will not capture me in the same gorgeous light as it does your children on that particular evening.
I took your blog off my "favorites" three days ago out of boredom.
