False Hope

So I've discovered this week while walking around the dog park that I've had to keep hiking up my sweatpants. After like the seventh time I was getting pretty excited that my clothes are too big and I'm finally starting to lose some weight after weeks of not dieting and intermittent exercising. So when I got home I weighed myself and found I had gained two pounds. So here's today's question of the day:

What's more depressing, thinking you've lost weight when you haven't, or the fact that I wear sweatpants so much they're getting stretched out?
