September 12, 2008 A Day That Will Live In Infamy

Today ladies and gentlemen, is a day that should be remembered forever, something that will be remembered in history as future generations learn about their ancestors. I finished my first book. Ever. Yes I realize that not only am I twenty-two years old, but I am in graduate school and I will be a doctor here in two short years. What can I say? I'm not a reader. I did pledge before this past summer began that I would like to read a book start to finish over the summer. Well things happen and karaoke was sang and it did not happen. I did however, after talking to a friend that had a less than calm, well-behaved dog, decide what the book was that I wanted to read.

Yes, this book is about dogs. It's actually really good. It's not just about teaching a dog to sit or shake, it's about the psychology of dogs. I know what you're all thinking but it really is interesting information and it makes you rethink your approach to dogs. Which in my case I believe is a good thing. I realized things I was doing wrong with Prada and why I wasn't getting the response I wanted. If I could go back to the day I got her I would do almost everything differently, but we can't do that so we're just working in the now (which by the way is all dogs know). It's all about the energy.

Maybe I'll start a book club on here. Look for the next book review in 2030.
