Update from the Sunshine State

I feel like my posts have gotten a little dry lately so I thought I would just give you an all around update of the happenings and shinanigans of the desperate interns of Bay Beach Lane (anybody get it?). We've now been down here for over two weeks and a lot has happened. I guess i'll start with the job since that's actually the reason we came down here. Its fine. Next topic.

The first weekend was poolside blah blah. The following Thursday while I was getting paid to sit at a baseball game and drink half price frosties, we met the crazy market recruiter. I would like to emphasize crazy. The rest of the weekend was spent sitting at the beach, going to Dockside for karaoke, going to the beach, going to a water park that was supposed to be 15 minutes away but turned out to be in Tampa, etc.

Then there was a couple days of work. Then there was the stretch Hummer limo escapade. We all got dressed up (in black, pink, and white) for the crazy market recruiter's birthday and went in the limo to a couple different nighttime establishments. We drank soda and played catch phrase in the limo. At the establishments there was a riveting game of charades and twister, but I won't go into details about that. Saturday there was laying around due to the fact that charades and twister makes me real tired and gives me a headache. Then there was more karaoke at Dockside. Sunday was a pool day and Monday it was back to work. And here we are.

You probably had a "backache" from playing twister and charades, too. Am I right??

I think I'd like to meet this crazy recruiter. She must be certifiable if she got you to wear pink. I'm just sayin'.

PS - Can I be an intern at Walgreens too?

They're on hiatus, so I guess we are too. As the General likes to say, "They can't all be winners".
