I just found out (literally) that my former pharmacy manager at "the empire" quit. I choose not to list actual names of companies on here for my future's sake. He was my last ally. So what am I saying?
I need a plan. Six years ago I had it all laid out what was going to happen. I was going to move home, to the farm for 6-12 months in order to save up a lot of money to get those loans down, work five minutes away, I even signed a contract. Three years ago I moved to Florida for a summer on a whim and fell in love... with the beach. Irony - I'm Irish and I can't swim. I made a lot of great friends and I loved my job. Now all the circumstances have changed.
A few things haven't changed though. Please don't take this as complaining as I know how lucky I am to be able to find a job right now, but I would like some suggestions. Or maybe someone could just decide my future for me. We all know how I handle decision making. I'm not tied down by anything immediate. I'm single, I have a dog so I can pretty much pick up and move anywhere and do anything. I've never been less sure in the last six years as to what I want to do with my life.
I already know what everyone is going to say. The Floridians are going to say move down here. The Illinoisians are going to say move back here. And there's a few that are unhappy to be hearing this new development in my indecisiveness. Problem? I'm in debt to two companies... logic says work for one so you only have to pay back one. Yeah I know, both hands in the cookie jar. Please no speech. I can explain to you how it was/and still can be win, win. I could pay them both back, but I really don't want to. Give me a half mil, and problems solved. Oh and I forgot to mention, there's a possibility of a residency opportunity on the east coast.
What the hell do I do? I don't make decisions!!!
Did you know? I only applied to one school because I didn't want to have to choose between schools. If you only apply to one there's only one option, no choice. This is how I prefer to operate.
