Weekend Recap

Ok, I apologize but I just don't post when I go home for the weekend, I barely check my email. Instead I will give you a recap of all the big happenings of the weekend.

I heart driving under the speed limit for over half of my 311 mile drive.

I learned that drunk cannot carry a tune.

I heart friend's moms that not only pick us up from the bar at 2 am, but then also drive us to McDonald's.

I learned that eating McDonald's at 2 am gives me heartburn the next morning that takes four Zantac to cure.

I heart not having air conditioning in my car and the fact that my hair sticks out completely on one side after a long drive.

I learned that you can get sunburnt on one side of your face while riding in the car for five hours on a sunny afternoon.

And on a final note, I am angry with The Enforcer for leaving the reception early and not coming back or joining us at Willy's afterward. Grr.

What I Learned Today...

Drinking five cups of coffee in Morris right before your drive to Des Moines is not a good idea and will result in you stopping many times to pee.

Also to steal one from the Enforcer...

I heart... breakfast meetings that turn into three hour conversations without either person noticing.
