Yesterday at work, I had a guy pass out on me. It wasn't "from his flu shot," it was ten minutes after his flu shot*******. He sat in the chair and stared at the wall for awhile. Then he walked up to the counter to pay for his flu shot and suddenly stated he felt dizzy. In just enough time I was able to run around the corner, grab a chair, put it behind him, and semi-catch him and guide him in the chair as he passed-the-F-out. For a minute he stopped breathing and then took a big gasp of air. The front end manager was sure he had turned into a zombie and was instantly pissed that Subway was his last meal. We had, of course, called 911 at this point and I was standing next to him holding him by him shirt sleeve so he didn't slide off the chair.
The most shocking part to me was there were three people filling out forms, waiting in line to get flu shots when this happened. They. Still. All. Got. Shots.
Seriously. If I was sitting there when a guy passed out, I woulda been like "hey, so I just remembered...I gotta, not pass-the-F-out today. Peace!"
*******The guy told me had had a flu shot two years prior at other pharmacies and answered all the questions necessary to qualify. Please no comments this was my fault, my ego can't take it.*******

No one let Warhol read this post.
Also, the very best part: the front end manager being afraid Subway was his last meal before turning into a flesh eating zombie. Subway should never be anyone's last meal.
Thank you for another reason not to get a flu shot. I'll feel slightly less guilty the next time a nurse/doctor asks me if the girls or I got our shots this year.
Great catch too by the way. Way to not let your patient suffer a head to concrete floor traumatic brain injury!
I think maybe if you weren't on Crocodil or Spice, then you'd be fine. That said, this was the first time I've gotten a flu shot in 3 years.
It makes no sense to me why people would not get flu shots. Why must people make such a big deal about shots.
