Do They Ever Listen?

Two months ago, Match Guy and I were talking about going to see either "21 Jump Street" or "The Hunger Games."  We both wanted to see both movies but never really found the time.  He has, ahem, access to movies before some of them are available to the general public.  A couple weeks after we realized we weren't going to make it to the movie, he shows up to my house and said he watched "21 Jump Street" that morning and it was really funny and I should watch it.  Uh huh.  I kindly stated to him that I would rent "21 Jump Street" later but he was under no circumstances allowed to watch "The Hunger Games" without me or I would dump him.  I got off the phone with him a little bit ago and our conversation went a little like this...

Match Guy - "Umm, don't be mad at me."
Munchkin - "I love it when you start conversations like this."
Match Guy - "Well I was something something watched blah blah"
Munchkin - "You watched "Hunger Games" didn't you?"
Match Guy - "I'm sorry."

Do you talk during movies? Are you not a good movie partner? Or does he just have self-control issues?

In response to your initial title question: occasionally but only at about 50% attentiveness.

I, however, am a great listener and remember multiple conversations where it was discussed that Hunger Games could be a Girls Night activity as also mentioned by The Bride...

@Page Turner - yes, he totally has self control issues when it comes to watching movies for some reason

@ the sistas - I know that was supposed to be a girls night but I knew we'd never find a date before it went out of the theatre (which it now is). I was just being realistic!
