Thanks again Toula for driving me all the way back to Dwight, and to the Bride for driving me to Pontiac where my car was parked.

Reason #482 I'm Not Ready to Leave the Country
On Saturday, Coach A was in Chicago visiting her sister and Toula. Because I refuse to drive to Chicago I booked a train ticket Friday night to go up Saturday morning. I did not book a ticket home. This was not because I was planning on not coming home, but I was in a hurry and thought I would just book it Saturday when I got up there. Well at about 1900 when I remembered I needed to do that, they were all sold out.

Are you planning on leaving the country? I'm getting scared if that is the plan. Did you find the birth certificate? I hope not. How does it feel to just live in the minute or even second? Must be amazing to be so caught up in that second you could not book the return trip. I don't get it! I like lists, plans, and round trip tickets.
I can't think of a better way to spend my Sunday after a 3 day binge of visitors, adult beverages, and minimal sleep.
Aside from the no-ticket Sunday, I had a fantastic time with you Munchkin, and I wish you would visit more often. (Coach A too, for that matter.) I promise to take you to brunch, unless I cannot crawl out of bed, but then I promise to at least have something more substantial than hot dogs, waffles, and ice cream sandwiches for the morning.
Maybe by next summer, you'll be ready to leave the country.
At least you didn't have to take the bus.
