When I Woke Up This Morning I Felt A Little Bit Taller

Last night I attended the Enforcer's yoga class for the first time and she is a sadist. And I told her that several times last night. She claims that people that regularly do yoga, can grow by an inch. Right. Also last night, was "legorama." It was all about elongating the body. Hey, Enforcer, I can't elongate. I've been trying for twenty three years.

What did I learn last night? A few things.

The only people that screw up poses during the class are blood relatives. Even if they have been going for two years like Warhol and Flag Girl.

Flag Girl and Warhol cannot make it through class without giggling multiple times.

I was the only person in class that was shorter than the mat they were using. And it was a child's.

The relaxation song really works. I couldn't move my arms for a few minutes and Cari appeared to be drunk afterwards.

Best part of class is the relaxation song.

Best part of the entire night is the group bar venture after class.

While they will promise you everyone goes to the bar after class, they will not tell you to bring a change of cute clothes and you will be the only arse at the bar is sweaty yoga clothes.

You really do sweat during yoga, but only because it's over one hundred degrees in that little room.

No room should have that many mirrors.

I have to move my stomach out of the way to properly do runners pose.

By the way Enforcer, just because you can kick yourself in the back of head with your own foot doesn't mean the rest of us should have to be able to. Man was created above the chain from pigeons, therefore I shouldn't have to pose like one. Good news was I wasn't that sore today.
