Another Good Sunday

Yesterday one side of my extended family celebrated Aunt G's retirement by attending church and a celebratory luncheon that followed. Congrats, Aunt G, on leaving the work force... just as I'm entering it. Jealous.

Anyway, my favorite part of this event actually came during mass. Please pick yourselves up off the ground. While it was time to go to communion, Punkin asked the General if it was finally over and he said no. The best part was that he proceeded to explain to her how communion is like the seventh inning stretch in a baseball game. It's still not over, but we're getting closer.

My favorite part was her response after the children finished their introductory song:

"Um, okaaay..."

She kills me daily.

I see how this works. You steal Life & Times cute stories about her children. She needs to blog so she writes about books. All I have is books. That's it. No cute children to blog about (The Enforcer is my child.), Tru Stories writes about my grandkids, she even writes about my pony tailed husband. Leaving me with books. I feel better now that I have cleared the air.
By the way cute story!
