Happy Easter

Both the Garbage Disposal and I were decided it was both time and financially irresponsible to venture home for Easter. But don't worry about us, we did not go hungry. After returning from church, we decided we should make brunch. We could not, however, decide what to make so we made everything. So much so that we each had two full sized plates to carry our meal of french toast, Denver omlettes, hashbrowns, and biscuits and gravy. My meal was complete with a Pepsi, that sweet nectar of life that I've been longing for. I will say though that it didn't taste as good as I remember because since I've been such a picture of health (not including this particular meal) it tasted too sugary and fattening. That point aside, brunch was delicious. Soon after this, we took turns passing out on our respective couches while watching Lord of the Rings, except for one point when we were both awake and decided to switch couches so that we could alternate the sides we were sleeping on.

Earlier this week we decided to eat our Easter dinner at Fuddruckers because the Garbage Disposal had given up cheeseburgers for Lent. Hey, the girl loves a burger. I decided it would be wise to make sure they were open and found out they closed at five. At about 3:30 we decided we better get over there. You should know that it has been over five hours since our brunch at this point and frankly I was still not hungry but a cheeseburger and chocolate shake sounded good. And so it was, we eat had our cheeseburger, chocolate shake and shared fries. After dinner the garbage disposal asked if she could lie down in the back seat on the way home while I had to loosen my belt a notch. And here we are, back in sweatpants, on our respective couches watching the final Lord of the Rings movie. Good day.

Oh, and I don't want you to think the dog was neglected. She got a little bit of each part of brunch that we couldn't finish and has effectively been in a very satisfied food coma all day, getting up only briefly to switch beds. Definitely back to the workout/diet grind for all three of us tomorrow.

You really were missed. We needed one more sarcastic mouth in the mix...we always welcome them into our circle!
