And that's why I'd like to talk to you about Jesus. Just kidding.
What I really am going to talk about is how I wanted to hit a set of parents in church today. They walked in ten minutes late and sat right in front of me. They had one girl who I estimated to be five or six sitting in between them. She was eating some sort of little box of cookies and proclaimed a minute after arriving that she was thirsty. After her mom told her she didn't bring her anything to drink the girl insisted that she was thirsty. The dad took the little girl and went downstairs to the hall and got her a bottle of water. Little girl then proceeded to lay down with her head on her mother's lap and her legs kicking around somewhere around her father. When it came time to stand up the mother continued to sit as to not disturb her daughter laying in the pew. Finally after the girl sat back up, she sat down on the kneeler and got a book out of the back of the pew. After she ripped a page out and her parents did nothing she continued to rip another page out and the dad finally took the book away. At the end when she was laying down again, the mother began tickling the girl so she was laughing out loud while it was dead silent. Oh and she was also wearing sweatpants.
Last week I noticed teenagers wearing sweatpants and a woman wearing a hat during church. I don't know why this bothers me so much, but what has happened to the church going community?
Also, I would like to thank my family for having such well-behaved children.

Don't ya just wish sometimes you could tell somebody they should be in the cry room?
That drives me crazy. I don't know why parents are so afraid to tell their children no or to discipline them. Have a backbone, people!!!
