Dear Robert Groves,

While I am a firm believer in taxation for representation, I do not believe in taxation to send me a warning letter that I'm going to get an actual Census form to fill out in about a week. While I realize that you are in Washington D.C. and the word budget is unheard of there, most of us Americans are working hard to live on a tighter budget in this economy. I think you guys in Washington should take a page out of the book of all us hard working, everyday, regular people and try to think sensibly before wasting additional millions of dollars. Just a thought Mr. Director of the Census.

When I saw the envelope in the mail, I thought it was the actual census form. Nope. Just a warning. Just like the billions of commercials I've seen within the last month and the random door-to- door people and flyers informing me of how important the census is. I get it. I'll fill it out. Just send it to me already.

I saw my first Census commercial today, not to mention the ads that I have seen in the newspapers too. How much are they spending on advertisement? Maybe they could tone it down a notch and save a penny or too!
