Kathy Van Zeeland, but your purses are too bleeping expensive. I have never heard of you and even at Gordman's they are more than I can afford.
Today I went shopping with Big Bad and since I've been carrying the same purse for the last six years, I felt like it might be ok for me to buy myself a new one. Even so, I can't part with very much money for a purse. I mean, it's still a purse. I looked at every store in the mall, Target, Gordman's, and TJMaxx... twice. Found a few I really liked. Not one under $70. If I won the lottery this process would've been a lot easier.
Which reminds me. I went shopping with the Garbage Disposal for a little while on Monday. I found a scarf I really liked at Macy's. It was $80. That's more than I paid for my dog. And I could make multiple scarves out of her. The scarf is not even the winter ensemble that keeps very much of me warm. I mean if you think about it, the scarf only keeps the part of the V in my neck that isn't covered by the shirt that I'm wearing. But I digress.
What was I talking about?

Check Burlington Coat Factory. Thought Kathy VZ bags were ridiculously priced (and a little gaudy/henious) for years then secretly started to fall in love with them. Found one for $30, left it, dreamed about it, went back to make it my own the next time I was in Naperville. I saw one in a deep emerald at Macy's the other day that I might have considered selling one of my kidneys for. It's really a crime that a flippin' handbag should cost as much as they do.
If it makes you feel any better, I spent $68 dollars at Kohl's today. I saved $111. As The Enforcer might say, I OWNED Kohls today.
