Believe me when I say, Thank God Almighty, They're Done At Last.
As of... some point tonight, the guys are done combining. There's what we farm kids call a lot "on wheels," but it's all out of the field and after a long fall, we're all thankful. I mean, it has only affected me to the extent of delivering DQ to the field on Sunday after church (which believe me I don't mind), but it seems like they've been combining for six months and I'm glad for them.
Here's hoping all the rest of the farmers get to finish soon as well.
Do we think now the hot meal will be waiting when I get home from work?
