What I Learned Today...

I feel bad for anyone who has a long commute to work. I've been employed on and off for eight years now and have never had to drive more than ten minutes to work. I now am driving up to Morris which is about a half hour each way. Spending an hour in the car each day to me is pointless and it sucks gas money. The only thing I'm thinking is what a waste of time. Good thing I recently made a CD that I like to call "Munchkin Performing at the Grammys."

What do you do to deal with your morning commute.

My commute is about 7 minutes, and I try to find a decent song to listen to on the way to work. On the way home, I try to get the boys to tell me something (anything) about their day. It's harder than you'd think.

If you ever perform at the Grammy's, I will drive to work wondering what this world is coming to.

Usually I just rock out, yell at awful chicago drivers, try not to run red lights, wonder what all the people on the street do while I'm at work, question if I will see daylight at all, and have some of the most random thoughts of my day.

My commute is 60 minutes. I listen to Bob & Tom, listen to music, best of all - talk on the phone. Find phone friends!

The Enforcer's Mom. I'm a big fan! When I say Big Fan, I mean Big Fan in short stature.

You should be able to come up with some great posts during all of that driving time! Looking forward to reading them :)

The first part of my commute is spent listening to Shortcake tell me everything on her agenda that day and in a rare quiet moment reminding her to put her gloves and hat in her bookbag when she gets inside the school. The second half of my commute involves the morning show on 103.5. This all transpires in about 8 minutes (including wait time in the drop off lane).

haha thanks for posting grammy!

I'm going to need one of those little tape recorders to record my thoughts on my daily commute

1. I would love a copy of any cd entitled "Munchkin Performing at the Grammys".

2. I have about a 35 min commute, of course you know that being that everywhere you go in fort myers takes 35 mins to get to. I usually take the time to relect on my day, and ponder life's mysteries....ok not really--i usually switch on the auto pilot, do some serious car dancing to getting jiggy with it, or just talk to myself. I only occasionally catch other people watching me and laughing.
