I'm Gettin' Old

Last week I discovered that now I'm growing grey (sterling silver) on the side of my head. Unlike some people who think grey hair makes them look distinguished, I tend to think it makes me look a little like a wire-haired terrier.

Last night was my oldest niece, Relish's, eighth grade night for basketball. I was going to post a picture of me holding her as an infant, but I don't think digital cameras were invented yet. Not only did I get to see the seventh grade play (sarcasm), I got to see a good game with the eighth grade (not sarcasm). The most exciting part? Relish scored a big shot in the fourth quarter. She was 100% with shots using the backboard. The second best part was going to the DQ afterwards because Big Bad failed to feed me before hand. Unfortunately it was not the Dwight DQ, which is the best in the land... but you can't win 'em all.

Also, October called... it wants its weather back.

mmm...nothing beats a DCB from Dwight DQ, but I believe the old DDQ was the best, with the extra old grease and broken in appliances... now the food tastes all...new

The grey hair doesn't actually make A look "distinguished" like she thinks... we just allow her to think that way.

Color your hair now and often... welcome to my world, grasshoppa! :)

Agreed, Toula. Plus there's no way the new staff can touch the awesomeness that was the DQ staff of the 90s.
