Weekend Recap

Because I feel as though I have complained mucho about last weekend's travel shinanegans, I won't go into the whole story, but rather supply you with a good ol' fashion Top 10 Things I Learned Last Weekend.

10. Atlanta only has one bar per concourse. That's not cool when they cancel 10 flights per airline per day.
9. One lowly college student does have to power to stimulate a large city's economy all on her own if given the time in an airport.
8. If you're planning a romantic Digiorno dinner, don't got sit on the lanai and assume you will know when it's been twenty minutes... especially if you've been drinking in the sun all day. That will make for one burnt romantic Digiorno dinner.
7. Be careful when jumping for the bouquet at the reception, you could loose your footing or get kick swept by a flower girl and fall down.
6. After typing number 7, maybe I learned not to drink the entire two hours between the wedding and the reception.
5. Karaoke at the hotel bar after the reception is the greatest thing ever.
4. There are three nice ladies that now think I'm a neuro surgeon from Naples (no idea how they got that idea, maybe it was during Strokin' or the Old School rendition of Total Eclipse of the Heart).
3. Wear a comfortable dress to the wedding just in case you wake up in it the next morning.
2. A departure of 2pm is not late enough for the hangover to subside before take off.
1. Delta airlines sucks - flights cancelled, lost luggage... dumbasses.

My luggage didn't make my connection in Atlanta. They said it would be in on the next flight which landed in 30 minutes. Which turned into 3 hours because Delta has 3 gates at Midway, and many more flights than that landing. The plane with our luggage had to wait for a gate for almost an hour and then the baggage guys took another hour to get all the bags up. It was awesome.

But all in all, the time I actually got to be in Myrtle Beach was awesome. All the time surrounding it sucked.

I would pay money to see a video of the bouquet toss.

This might be my favorite post to date - flippin' hil-AIR-ious.
