Snubbed

So as most of you probably know, I had been looking into moving to Phoenix for the summer. I had spoken with the district pharmacy supervisor down there multiple times, done all the paperwork, and was just waiting for my official offer. Well, I was snubbed. No offer has made its way to my inbox, despite the fact that other offers have obviously been sent out. Thing I'm most bitter about - the MONEY! The difference between Phoenix and Dwight? SIX DOLLARS AND HOUR. In case you're not Mr. MC and are not at this very moment doing that math difference in your head, at 40 hours a week for we'll say summer is approximately 12 weeks long.... that's $2880. Hang on I have to go take a Xanax after seeing that figure again.

Alright I'm back. I may have to have some Verdi about that later. Anywho, as most of you have probably been able to infer, working at Doc's is not exactly the pride and joy of my life. I recently contacted my boss from Florida. When I asked her if she would be willing to hire me back for this summer, she responded with a rousing "hell yes," and immediately apologized for her professionalism. They are not offering me as much as Phoenix, but it is still more than Dwight. And I don't know if any of you know this but there is no income tax in Florida. Not to mention the beach and constant sunshine and warm weather. Plus I get to go back to this...

As you can see, my mind is pretty much made up. There is one difference this year though. The internship begins at the same time, but finals are a week later, which means I will have to move directly from Des Moines to Florida. I've searched online for a couple different routes to get down there, but I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions. As was before, you are all more than welcome to come visit, except Doug. Drunk Driver don't take that as anything against you, you are still more than welcome to come. By the way, since she is Drunk Driver, does that mean we can just refer to Doug as Drunk?
